Piano Lessons:
I offer personalized, in-home piano lessons designed to meet each student where they are in their musical journey. Younger students typically begin with 30-minute lessons, with the option to transition to 45-minute lessons as their skills and attention span develop.

Lessons combine piano playing, music reading, and music theory using a variety of engaging methods, including curriculum books, flashcards, whiteboards, and songs students enjoy. Curriculum books are selected based on each student's age, experience, and learning needs and are purchased separately from monthly tuition.

Scheduling & Tuition:

Tuition is based on the number of lessons scheduled each month, so the monthly amount may vary depending on how many times your regular lesson day occurs that month. For example, if a month has five Mondays, a Monday student would typically have five lessons, while a Friday student may have four.

At the beginning of each month, we’ll review the schedule together and adjust any dates that do not work for your family.

Cancellations & Makeup Lessons:

Students must cancel their lesson if they are sick to help protect the health of the student, instructor, and other families.

If a student needs to cancel a lesson, please provide as much notice as possible. Cancellations made less than one hour before the scheduled lesson are not eligible for a makeup lesson.

Eligible cancellations may request a makeup lesson during the designated makeup weekend at the end of the month, subject to availability. Makeup lessons are not guaranteed and must be requested in advance.

For a makeup request, please contact Ms. Ellie first. If Ms. Ellie is unable to accommodate the makeup lesson, the request may then be made to Ms. Amanda.

Quick reminder:

• Sick? Please cancel your lesson.

• Cancel with at least 1 hour's notice to be eligible for a makeup, unless they are sick coming home from school.

• Makeup requests go to Ms. Ellie first, then Ms. Amanda if needed.

• Makeup lessons are subject to availability and are generally held during the designated end-of-month makeup period.
